2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime: Performance & Capability

The 2022 RAV4 Prime is equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor that, combined, can produce up to 302 net horsepower. This engine will come paired with an Electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT).

This rousing equipment continues in the fuel economy department to provide an EPA-estimated 40 city and 36 highway MPG.¹ For added excitement, there are various modes to choose from, like SPORT and TRAIL. Switch to EV mode and enjoy electric-only driving for up to an EPA-estimated 42 miles.²
