The Toyota Venza is a hybrid, meaning you’ll get better fuel economy because it is partially powered by a gas engine and an electric motor. The combined 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and electric motor are still powerful, generating up to 219 horsepower. With this hybrid engine, you’ll get an EPA-estimated 40 city/37 highway MPG.¹

The Venza comes standard with an electric on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) to provide better traction and control in bad weather or rough roads. If conditions get slippery, the AWD system will automatically send power to the rear wheels to provide traction.

• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection—Using a camera and radar, this system can sense a possible collision. It will alert you, and if you don’t react, the Venza will brake automatically.
• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist—The Venza monitors your position in your lane and will alert you if you begin to leave your lane unintentionally. The system will also gently correct your steering if you don’t take action.
• Automatic High Beams—While driving with your high beams on, if the Venza senses another vehicle approaching, it will switch the lights to low beams then back to high when the car passes.
